Skribo
For people who don't code

Don't code? Build it anyway.

Skribo is a free starter kit that gives Claude three helpers. One plans with you, one builds a step at a time, and one checks the work before anyone sees it.

Free to download. If it helps, pay what you like; $10 is suggested.

  • No code to write

Your setup, in three taps

Your answers only build your checklist and your line, right here on this page. Nothing is saved or sent.

What slows you down most?

Three helpers, one page you own

Skribo is a small folder of plain text files. It gives Claude three jobs and one plan page, so your project keeps moving and every session picks up where you stopped.

  • The Planner, ivory, holding a gold pen

    Planner

    the paper

Writes down what you decided and what's next, and turns a fuzzy idea into one small step.

  • The Builder, black, holding a gold hammer

    Builder

    the ink

Makes the thing, one step you've approved at a time, and finishes it.

  • The Second Opinion, maroon, looking through a magnifying glass

    Second Opinion

    the red pen

Reads the work with fresh eyes and checks for mistakes before anyone sees it.

What you need

  • A paid Claude plan that includes Claude Code. Pro is enough to start; the free plan doesn't include it. See Claude's plans
  • The Claude desktop app, on a Mac or a Windows PC. (Linux: the app is in beta and Skribo isn't tested there yet.)
  • On Windows, Git for Windows too. The setup tells you when.
  • About 20 minutes the first time.

Free to start

Download Skribo for free. If it's useful, you can pay what you like on the download page; $10 is suggested and keeps it going.

English and Brazilian Portuguese in one download.

Questions

Is it really free?

Yes. The download page asks for your e-mail; paying is optional ($10 suggested).

I've never coded or used a terminal. Is this for me?

That's exactly who it's for. Claude asks questions; you answer them and say yes or no.

Is it an app?

No. It's a folder of plain text files that tell Claude how to work with you. You can open and read every one.

Will it mess up my computer?

It only works inside the folder you choose, asks before it changes anything, and sets up save points first, so a change can be undone.

Does it work in Portuguese?

Yes. The download includes a full Brazilian Portuguese version.

Is Skribo made by Anthropic?

No. It's an independent kit that works with Claude Code. Not affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic.

What if I get stuck?

The kit's "Say this" page has a line to copy for each stuck moment ("Stop. Explain in plain words what we're doing."). Or write to jb.ai.starter@gmail.com.

Why "Skribo"?

It means "writing" in Esperanto. Your idea gets written down (Planner, the paper), made real (Builder, the ink) and checked (Second Opinion, the red pen).
